We all know social media has become a part of everyday life and is one of the most effective ways to get people on board with your brand. But one thing I feel most people still question is whether they are fully utilizing social media to bring awareness to their brand. So I wanted to share some quick tips on how to do just that.
- Use a business account
- Post Consistently
- Optimize post for platform
- Use the right hashtags
- Engage with your audience
Using a business account is very useful. Platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest offer detailed analytics which you can use to your advantage to see what post are doing well and how many eyes on are on your brand. Being able to see these numbers give you insight on what is really resonating with your audience. I would highly recommend doing this if you have not already done so, considering how easy it is to set up and the benefits you get from it. Posting consistently is very important especially in the beginning. Showing up frequently on people’s feeds is a sure way to get noticed, although I wouldn’t suggest going overboard. Another tip I want to expound on is optimizing your posts for the specific platform you are posting to. When creating your content keep in mind where you are posting so everything fits. Another point I want to touch on is putting the right tags in order for your post to be seen. Your tags should be relevant to your content but be mindful that using common tags will make your post less likely to be seen since so many people are also using those tags. Lastly, engaging with your audience is crucial. In order for people to really want to follower you and be interested in your brand, you need to engage with them. Something as simple as a reply to a nice comment they left on your post or answering any questions they have, can go a long way. I hope some of those tips were helpful. Thanks for reading!
