Color can play a major part in how your brand is perceived. It is important that you are aware of what kind of response a color brings out in people. The right colors can attract people to your brand, but it will have the opposite effect if you pick the wrong ones. People tend to associate colors with different things, which is why you need to be conscious of what your brand colors are communicating to your audience.
With that being said, how do you go about finding what colors work best for your brand?
To answer that question, it is important to figure out what your brand personality is. Since colors carry their own meaning and personality, knowing your brand personality is an easy way to match up your brand with the right colors. For example, if your brand is youthful and playful, pick bright colors. Or if your brand is more serious, you might want to stick with more neutral colors. Another thing to consider is what colors are being used already in the industry that you are in. Overall, I feel that when it comes down to it, go with the colors you feel fits best with your brand. Just take some of these points under consideration when trying to find what colors work for you.
